I hold a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition from Florida State University. During my sports rotation at the University of Florida, I had the opportunity to work with most of the Olympic teams, with a primary focus on Track and Field and Women's Soccer, as well as Football.
Outside of work, I share my life with two cats, Sampson and Simon. I'm driven by a goal to establish my private practice dedicated to high school athletes aspiring to compete at the D1 level, helping them navigate the bridge between high school and college fueling strategies. I believe in a balanced approach to nutrition and set the expectation to remain open-minded, always ready to learn, and adapt to support my clients.
"I believe in an "all foods fit" model. There are no "good" or "bad" foods except those that are expired! My approach as a Registered Dietitian emphasizes balance and sustainability, grounded in the belief that all foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle. I advocate for small, manageable changes that add up to lasting lifestyle improvements, focusing on a "food first" philosophy to prioritize nutrient-dense choices before supplementation. I also encourage moderation and balance."
