I graduated from one of the top universities in Canada (University of British Columbia) and went to work in one of the largest hospitals in the country before moving to the US. Over the years, I have led webinars for patients, education sessions for doctors, nurses and other dietitians, worked in hospital settings both at the patient’s bedside as well as in a clinic setting. During this time, I advanced my education by completing Monash University training in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), FODMAPs and disordered eating in gastrointestinal disorders. I have also worked alongside endocrinologists with marked success in improving blood sugar levels among individuals with diabetes or prediabetes.
Outside of work, you can find me in all sorts of places… On a reformer machine doing pilates, watching the rain with my cat (her name is Big Rhonda), biking to a local coffee shop, trying out a New York Times recipe, or hosting potlucks.
