My Background & Experience:
I have over 25 years of experience in the field and previously served as the Lead Dietitian and Lifestyle Counselor at Scripps Clinic’s Integrative Medicine Center. During my time there, I worked closely with clients on a variety of nutrition-related concerns and lifestyle changes. I was honored to be featured in The New Medicine, a primetime PBS documentary on innovative healthcare.
Beyond clinical practice, I’ve contributed to best-selling books (SuperFoodsRx and SuperFoods HealthStyles) and served on Revolution Health's Medical Advisory Board, where I created expert content for their online health and wellness platforms.
Why I Became a Dietitian:
I became a dietitian because I truly believe in the transformative power of food. I was drawn to integrative nutrition because it connects science with real-life well-being, helping people heal and thrive naturally. After working in various healthcare settings, I saw firsthand how nutrition plays a crucial role in disease prevention and recovery—and I knew I wanted to help people harness that power in a personalized, sustainable way.
A Bit About Me:
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me spending time with my teenage daughter, hiking in nature with my dogs, or practicing energy healing. I also love traveling and exploring different food cultures—because food is not just about nutrition, but also joy, connection, and tradition!
