I played basketball growing up and as stated above, I had the opportunity to play the sport I love in college. While learning the basics of dietetics in school, I was able to apply these principles to my own training and saw a future in helping other's being the best version of themselves inside and outside their respective athletic events. After retiring from basketball, I started Muay Thai, fighting where I learned the value of nutrition counseling in the combat sports field as well.
All while this was happening, I was working in a behavioral health hospital as an eating disorder dietitian. I was able to understand the balance of sports nutrition and disordered eating patterns. I worked in eating disorders at the hospital for 3 years prior to deciding to open my own practice.
In education background, I received my bachelor's degree in dietetics from Mount Mary University and my master's degree in human performance from Concordia University- Chicago. I hold licensing in Wisconsin and Illinois.
