Hi! I’m Maddie, a Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer, and devoted foodie passionate about helping clients cultivate a balanced and sustainable approach to health.
I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to support your goals and encourage lasting intuitive relationships with nutrition, movement, and your body. Whether you’re looking to heal your relationship with food, optimize performance, or build sustainable habits to prevent chronic disease, I’m here to guide you in a way that feels right for you —without rigid rules or restrictions. I have a particular interest in working with clients recovering from disordered eating, managing gut health concerns, or navigating the social media food noise. Additionally, I aspire to support athletes transitioning beyond their competitive careers, helping them foster a balanced approach to wellness. Regardless, we are equipped at SkimWellness to provide services for all levels and types of athletes.
I have experience in tertiary care hospitals, Division I collegiate settings, and education in eating disorder-informed care. I take an integrative and weight-neutral approach, incorporating balance and mindfulness in all aspects of nutrition and movement. Ultimately, I believe in making nutrition science approachable and practical, empowering you to make informed choices that feel good for your body.
We can work together to build a positive relationship with food that enhances, rather than controls, your life. My counseling approach prioritizes preventative care and sustainable lifestyle changes that nourish both body and mind, promoting long-term health without the pressure of diet culture.
Outside of my practice as an RD, you’ll often find me experimenting in the kitchen, exploring New York City’s restaurant scene, traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, or coaching group fitness at F45!
