Hello! My name is Marie Therese, MSC, RDN, and I’m also known as "Tery." I am a registered dietitian with a Professional Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition from the University of Arizona and almost 10 years of experience in the U.S. and abroad. I have worked extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings, helping individuals improve their health and manage chronic diseases through nutrition and lifestyle changes. My diverse clinical experience has shaped my approach—not only in disease management but, more importantly, in disease prevention, recognizing its vital role in enhancing quality of life and reducing the risk of serious complications.
I am passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their health through long-term and practical lifestyle changes. I offer personalized dietary plans tailored to your unique needs using an evidence-based approach. Inspired by my Mediterranean roots, I emphasize a balanced, whole-food approach to nutrition, ensuring that healthy eating is not only effective but also enjoyable.
Beyond my work, I enjoy swimming, yoga, and cooking—especially exploring new Mediterranean recipes and adapting them for my son, family and friends. I love creating fusion dishes that blend traditional Mediterranean flavors with other cuisines, like my Mediterranean-style quinoa bowls—a twist on classic tabbouleh, swapping bulgur for protein-packed quinoa and adding avocado for a creamy, nutritious boost.
