Michelle Czopek, RD

Hello!  My name is Shelly Czopek MS.RDN. I am a Dietitian/Nutritionist with a master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University and a bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from Arizona State University. I have been practicing for over three decades and have fully enjoyed my career.  I have lived in ten different states but consider myself to be from Colorado after living there for 30 years.  Now I live in Central Oregon and love it.

I became a Dietitian after studying biology and realized nutrition and the health sciences were a perfect fit.  I enjoy working in many practice areas and especially like getting to know people as individuals so I can tailor my advice to them without a cookie cutter approach.  I pride myself on giving each client concrete, easy to follow suggestions with written instructions.  Food is fuel and there are no forbidden foods.  Food should be enjoyed!

Outside of work, I love everything outdoors- be it hiking, kayaking or snowshoeing.  My golden retrievers are usually there with me!
