Misty Clackum, RD

Hello! I'm Misty! I am a board-certified Registered Dietitian with over 20 years experience in a variety of different areas - from premature babies to geriatric adults. My love is for Pediatric Nutrition, and I am proud to be a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition. I graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa with a Degree in Nutrition. I started as a Clinical Dietitian traveling all over the United States helping patients of all ages with their nutritional needs. I also was the Director of Health and Wellness for a medical group working closely with patients to direct them on the right path to success. I started my own nutrition private practice in Chattanooga, TN in 2020 helping patients with eating disorders, developing meal plans, educating clients on medically prescribed diets, and following patients with feeding tubes and ones on parenteral nutrition...and the list goes on. I have since moved to Georgia and enjoy seeing clients from all over the nation. I am a Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as a member of the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group. I am also a Certified Life Coach who is willing to work one-on-one with you to meet your nutritional goals. Being a mom to three kids, I know just how difficult it can be to provide nutritious food to picky eaters. I totally understand the difficulties of feeding kids! Absolutely NO judgement here! You and I will work together to find what works best for you and/or your children. I have knowledge of a variety of nutritional concerns, and I feel confident that I can help you out with your concerns as well! When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband and kids. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, watching my kids' sporting events, and cheering on my Crimson Tide (ROLL TIDE)!
