Background

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Natalie and I specialize in helping athletes optimize their health and performance using a holistic approach. I am a lifelong athlete and have had a deep passion for nutrition since 6th grade, when I first discovered the power of healthy eating. I believe that food has the ability to heal physically, emotionally and mentally. In my young adulthood, I struggled with diet culture mentality that eventually led to disordered eating from bulimia to orthorexia. That dark part of my past was my primary motivation for helping others develop a healthy and thriving relationship with food and body while pursuing their health and performance goals.

I believe that we are truly limitless and it’s my intention to help you remove nutrition as a barrier from becoming your best self. My approach doesn’t focus on shortcuts, but rather lifestyle changes that lead to lasting results. During our first session, my goal is to get to know YOU - including your goals, struggles, fears and desired results. From there, we will work together to create a plan of action to help you meet your goals in a sustainable way. In every session, you can expect to gain valuable nutrition insights, deepen your understanding of your unique dietary needs, and be empowered to take small but digestable steps to re-claiming your power, as it relates to food and nutrition. No matter where you are in your journey, I will support and encourage you every step of the way.

I earned my Bachelor degree in Nutrition/Dietetics at West Chester University in Pennsylvania in 2014 and have been a practicing dietitian since 2016. I started my career as a clinical dietitian working with populations with various health conditions ranging from cardiac, GI, ICU, PCU, and cancers. In 2018 I opened my private practice, Body By Boss, LLC so I could have more control in helping my clients address the root cause of their conditions, instead of addressing the symptoms alone. Over the past several years, I’ve helped hundreds (300+) of female athletes with gut and digestive issues (like IBS, bloating and constipation), hormonal imbalances, disordered eating behaviors, body image, veganism, weight loss, muscle building, obesity, autoimmune diseases, and more.

I currently reside in Texas with my husband and two sons, Johnny (4y) and Jett (6mo). When I’m not chasing after my boys or on coaching calls, you can find me training, competing, and teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (I’m a black belt!), working out with a kettlebell, reading, doing a DIY project, or experimenting with plant-based recipes.

I hope to get to know you. You deserve to feel your best from the inside out and I look forward to helping you get there.
