Diabetics are amongst the most prevalent groups of people I work with. This is a great passion of mine as my parents are both diabetic (Type I mother & Type II father) and have grown up in a household that preached moderation in foods that contribute to this and other chronic conditions while also not demonizing them and recognizing there is a time and place for all foods. I live/practice an inclusive approach to all foods, provided there is an understanding of the composition of food and the consequences of their intake.
I am driven to educate myself and as any people as I can while I’m on this earth about food and to help discover what foods people enjoy and the benefits of those foods to provide them the best outcomes possible.
