Hi, I'm Becky! My journey with nutrition started as a little girl. Severe eczema was accompanied by many food allergies, of which I've outgrown most, thankfully. Native to New Jersey, I enjoyed the ethnic takeout and the fast food/Chef Boyardee type meals that often resulted from two working parents raising a large family. It wasn't until college that I really learned how to food shop, cook, and eat healthier. Now as a dietitian, you may be interested to know, I still enjoy fast-food in moderation.
Becoming a dietitian wasn't my first choice, but it is what I believe I was meant to be. I love learning about food, nutrition, and how it applies uniquely to each person.
I received my BS in Dietetics at Brigham Young University and completed my supervised internship for licensure and MPPD (Masters of Professional Practice in Dietetics) through Iowa State University. I've been working as a clinical dietitian in hospital and acute rehabilitation settings since 2017. Now I'm excited to start offering more outpatient counseling!
When I'm not working, I'm playing with my sweet little toddler boy & watching shows with my hubby.
