I am a Registered Dietitian and Board-Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO). I’ve been in practice for the past 10 years.
I graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in dietetics, a bachelor's degree in Spanish and minors in medical Spanish, Latin American culture, and biology. I completed my dietetic training in Augusta, Georgia at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Hospital and the Medical College of Georgia where I also gained hands on experience working with clients of all backgrounds/conditions as well as patients with war related injuries. After completing my training, I then went on to work within the inpatient setting while finishing a Master's Degree in Nutrition Education through American University. After working for 5 years inpatient, I transitioned to working in the outpatient setting.
On a more personal note, I am a patient with PCOS and Endometriosis and took the initiative to study on the diet management of these conditions as well as ways to improve fertility during IVF treatments.
I look forward to helping clients improve their overall health through diet and provide them with all the tools they need to succeed.
