Sarah is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with currently 3 years of clinical education experience. She completed her undergraduate from Olivet Nazarene University and her master’s degree and dietetic internship from Eastern Illinois University. Sarah is currently working as a Gastroenterologist dietitian. Where she primarily focusing on Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) while also educating individuals on diabetes, weight management (with experience in weight loss medication), and general GI disorders. Sarah’s goal as a dietitian is to be able to provide nutrition education to all individuals to help manage and prevent diseases. She believes that no one’s wellness journey is the same and small changes over time can make a big difference. She works together with her clients to create individualized nutrition plans incorporating food preferences, lifestyle changes and a whole body approach to meet and sustain their goals. Her clients are not alone in their journey. She is with them every step of the way as she holds them accountable for their actions and encourages them to be the best they can be each day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new recipes, and working on different crafts. Sarah found a passion for food and nutrition at an early age after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Soon after she knew she wanted to help others the way she was helped.
