Background

When it comes to nutrition, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice, medical concerns, and the demands of everyday life. My goal is to help you cut through the noise and make nutrition feel more practical, less overwhelming, and easier to apply without guilt or rigid rules.

I am a Registered Dietitian with a BS in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado and an MS in Nutrition, including a dietetic internship, from Saint Elizabeth University. I have experience in private practice, outpatient counseling, inpatient care, long-term care, and skilled nursing settings. My work has included supporting clients with blood sugar concerns, heart health concerns, weight management concerns, reproductive and life-stage nutrition needs, chronic disease management, and building a more balanced relationship with food.

My counseling style is collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized. Clients often describe my style as approachable, supportive, and discussion-based. I incorporate non-diet approaches such as Health at Every Size, intuitive eating, and mindful eating, while recognizing that each person’s health history, goals, routines, and relationship with food are different.

Whether you are adjusting your nutrition for medical reasons or working toward more balanced, sustainable habits, I will meet you where you are and help identify realistic next steps. I became a dietitian to help people reduce guilt around food and build realistic strategies that support their health without taking over their lives.
