I received my B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and my M.S. from California State University at Los Angeles. I have been a Clinical Dietitian for the past 36 years, including work in hospital settings and dialysis clinics.
I have provided nutritional care for a wide- range of conditions. While working with patients with kidney failure, I became aware of the fact that so many of these patients could have avoided or postponed dialysis if they had received proper nutritional care earlier in their disease process.
In my personal life I have successfully utilized food to fully eliminate my joint pain and gastrointestinal ailments so that I can more actively engage in my interests which include gardening, reading, music and exercise.
