My journey to becoming a registered dietitian took a different route. I started out as music major in college, but changed my major to dietetics. I lost weight during the first year of my new major. Kept that weight off for many years, but regained it in midlife. Since then I have made changes again in my eating pattern and lost weight. I continue to look for and try new recipes. I have a large garden and enjoy growing my own vegetables. Trying more plant based meals. I enjoy being physically active bicycling, playing pickleball, maintaining my yard, kayaking and nature walks.
