After nearly a decade as a dietitian and even longer in the wellness world, I’ve come to the conclusion that our bodies have an incredible capacity to heal.
I’ve worked with dozens of clients—many who were told, “There’s nothing that can be done,” or “You’ll live with this for the rest of your life,” or, even worse, “It’s all in your head.” I’ve found that these same clients thrive when they begin to understand the impact nutrition, lifestyle, gut health and holistic health can have on our well-being.
As a dietitian, my goal is to support you on your journey to wellness. I’m passionate about helping clients not only nourish themselves properly but also understand their unique bodies. From stubborn depression linked to nutritional deficiencies to uncontrollable blood sugars that need quality nutrition (not more carb counting), and even severe gut distress that requires balancing the microbiome, I’m deeply committed to how food can help us heal.
My approach to nutrition coaching is multifaceted:
1. Investigation: Cause and effect. Let’s get to the root cause of your symptoms.
2. Compassion: No one makes sustainable changes by beating themselves up.
3. Sustainability: Anyone who has been put on a “diet” knows they rarely work. While behavior change may require some effort, we’ll work together to find solutions that fit your already full life.
4. Food as Medicine: I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again: food has the capacity to heal.
5. Big Picture Thinking: As much as food can do, it’s hard to absorb proper nutrients when there’s an overgrowth of bacteria in the gut or a mountain of unmanaged stress. Let’s look at the bigger picture, together, to ensure your food can do what it’s meant to.
Finally, I couldn’t be more excited for you to be here. I know the journey to well-being can feel intimidating at times, but trust me—on the other side, you’ll be so glad you took that first step.
