Shelby Nowlin, RD

My name is Shelby Nowlin, MS, RD, LD, and I am a Registered Dietitian. I have been a RD for 6 years and have worked in almost every aspect of nutrition including acute care in two large hospitals, WIC, telehealth, cancer treatment, bariatric nutrition, and preventative wellness. I am originally from North Little Rock, Arkansas and recently moved to Davenport, Florida in early 2023 with my husband, Chase, and two fur babies, Grizzy and Pepper. While I have ventured into several different avenues of nutrition, I find my biggest passion is in weight management. I have always struggled with weight gain my entire life and I love using my platform to share my personal experiences with obesity to help my patients in their own weight loss journeys. I love helping patients set realistic goals and watch them achieve them with hard work and dedication and find that this is exactly why I am so passionate about being a Dietitian.
