Background

My aim is to build a trusted relationship to uncover the root cause of your challenges and help you overcome them. During our sessions, you can expect to gain valuable nutrition insights and deepen your understanding of your unique dietary needs. At the end of every session, I will help you set three realistic action items to nourish, move, and grow. I like to think of these as mini-goals that will help you reach your ultimate goal in a way that doesn’t feel so overwhelming.

I once struggled with the pressures of diet culture and a toxic relationship with food, coupled with a fear of developing breast cancer - a disease that has deeply impacted my family. These struggles ultimately fueled my passion for nutrition, as I realized that taking control of your health is the first step to success in other areas of your life.

I attended SUNY Oneonta and received a bachelor’s degree in dietetics. I then completed my Dietetic Internship at Stony Brook University. As I was becoming a Dietitian, I became increasingly interested in plant-based nutrition after reading many fascinating research studies. While I now specialize in plant-based nutrition, I do not necessarily believe everyone needs to go 100% vegan. My key area of focus is helping you eat a more plant-centered diet, as plants are often the missing puzzle piece to helping you feel your best and thrive for LIFE.

This is precisely why I started my private practice, Nutrition With Tay. I wanted to help as many people as possible break free from the diet culture confusion, eat more plants, and find a sustainable approach to food that makes eating enjoyable again! Over the past few years, I have helped people dealing with various health issues, such as weight loss, IBS, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Diabetes, symptoms associated with menopause, and more. Everyone deserves to prioritize themselves and wake up feeling amazing!
