Background
I am a graduate of Appalachian State University and I have practiced dietetics for over 25 years. Early in my career I specialized in geriatrics and chronic disease states of the aging body. I also teach Foods, Nutrition & Culinary to high school age students in a Career & Technical Education Program. I have a personal interest in holistic and natural healing and I am a huge supporter of using food as medicine.
