About Me – Jacklyn Wang, MS, RD
Hi! I’m Jacklyn, a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. As a foodie and 'home chef,' my love for food and cooking first drew me to nutrition, but what truly ignited my passion was seeing the profound impact that food has on our health. Watching loved ones struggle with type 2 diabetes, a disease so closely tied to our diets, made me realize just how much of a difference the right nutrition can make—not just for managing conditions, but also preventing them and improving overall well-being.
My Approach
I take a compassionate, non-diet approach, helping you build a healthy relationship with food while making realistic, sustainable changes that actually fit your lifestyle. To me, food is to be enjoyed, not feared, so instead of restriction, I focus on adding nourishing foods, practicing moderation and balance, and embracing mindful eating. I understand everyone’s journey is different, and I meet you where you are, offering personalized support to help you build build lasting habits for a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
