Prior to becoming a dietitian, I struggled with Crohn’s disease for many years. During my master's program, I learned to research foods that could help me achieve remission. This experience empowered me to assist others while empathizing with the frustrations patients face on their health and food journeys.
I began my career in a clinical setting, encountering a range of conditions, including in the ICU, while providing bariatric classes and diet progressions. I then transitioned to outpatient care, focusing on cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation, where I met with patients weekly for nutrition counseling, led group classes, and organized cooking demonstrations. I am passionate about helping patients discover foods they love while working toward their health goals.
